Two Arrivals In The Post

I got my Twinkies! And whilst they might not have been '£1.60 a piece' good, they were absolutely delicious. The first one I ate without a drink, whilst feeling a little nauseous (due to the cocktail of 40 or so tablets I take each day). As I'm sure you can imagine, that one wasn't that great!

The next one, however, I ate whilst feeling fine and accompanied with a nice decaf Latte'. Now that was GOOD with a capital 'G'! Creamy, spongey, Twinki-licious! My little son, Ted, is also a big fan, although to qualify that, he is actually a fan of anything containing sugar, so no surprise there!

The second item I got through the post was the "This Is It" CD, the latest release from my favourite late artist, Mr. Michael Joseph Jackson. So what do we have? A fancy pants package containing the same recycled tunes that I harped on about earlier on the site. Nothing 'new' at all. I was always going to buy it, I'm a completist after all. But you can register me "underwhelmed" by Mike's latest release. So all in all, the Twinkies were the better of the two purchases.

Hostess 1 Jackson 0 ;)

Enjoy those twinkies! :D

And is that a gold tooth I'm seeing?

I'm definitely seeing the film, because it's looking better and better with each video. But **** that cd. Sony should be ashamed of themselves.

And LMAO at those pics! You crack me up dude.

Yep that's a gold tooth, although with a few more Twinkie rushes all those teeth including the real ones might be dropping out...

I'm hoping to see the film this week. Maybe the CD will seem better after that!

I really enjoyed how your sidebar portrait in the shades and shut is almost right next to the happy Twinkie photo. Serious and no Twinkies, happy and many Twinkies! I reccomend keeping one for a rainy day, revisit it in 4 months.

Damn am I hungry now.

I'm delirious with hunger!

I've got one left dear Barry, and you're so right, I will save it for a special occasion... Do you know what the shelf life is for these bad boys?

I do have to say one thing.
Those photos are great and they "seems ripe for manipulation in a photo-shop stylee."

Not that I'm dropping any hints or anything =0)

Get to work on them dear Koobs!

Glad you liked them Father K. What special occasion do you think you will save the last one for?

Urban legend states that Twinkies last forever, however the factual shelf life is 25 days. Of course, thats the market shelf life, so once you get it home you could keep it for another month or so, though the cake will not be as soft.

FK, have you ever had Hostess Sno Balls? They're an acquired taste, as they have coconut, but are my snack of choice from the Hostess lineup.

Now all we need is a "Twinkie the Kid" video game!

Would you believe one of my little darlings has finished the last one without me knowing? The bounders!
