Isn't it close to Greece or something?

It's an island off the coast of Greece. Half of it is owned by Greece and half of it is owned by Turkey. There was a horrible civil war there back in the day and emotions still run deep...

The Turkey half is Muslim, the Grecian side is Christian.

I really wanna check out the Turkish bit.

I've never been to a Muslim country, but I respect Islam massively and I would love to check out the mosques. Most of the children I teach are Muslim. It is a religion that is hugely misinterpreted by those outside!

Propoganda by the media should never be under-estimated!

Back to the post... Linkin Park, Jay Z and a Beatle? How cool is that???

BTW Google the Grey Album... JZ remixed with the Beatles... An underground classic!

Although you can make that same argument for all religions, Islam has been the most misrepresented after the September 11th terrorist attacks. I feel somewhat mortified to admit that I haven't gone to a mosque in a long time. Hopefully, the 5 daily prayers and fasting during Ramadan will get me a one way ticket to Heaven. By the way, are you going to a mosque to teach teach children about Islam? Aren't there Imams that already lecture children on Islam?

As a non-muslim I do still teach children about the morality and wisdom of Islam, but they get most of their religious teaching from the teachers at the mosque...

The mis-representation of Islam since 911 is criminal! I fucking loathe it! The KKK would see themselves as 'Christians' but they do not represent Christianity. Similarly the fanatics of Al-Qaeda do not represent Islam, but the average man in the street doesn't know that... The media wants to represent anyone who heeds the word of the Prophet as a fanatic, when He was a man of peace.

Unfortunately, those who want to use the word of God for peace, are massively out-weighed by those who want to tote religion to spread hate...

There is a passage in the Bible that states "Even the devil can quote scripture to further his own purpose"...

That's a gross mis-quote, but it is true to the actual text.

Islam and Christianity are philosophies of love, yet both can be cited to spread hate and violence in the wrong hands...

BTW, Funnyman, I think me and you will both be assured places in heaven, PSPs in hands with Chains Of Olympus, a beer and a smoke our eternal pleasures! LOL!

I had a dream once that I was in heaven. It was short but sweet. The dream was exactly as I expected heaven to be like. I was surrounded by countless gorgeous women, and they were all feeding me grapes. I must admit it was better than playing through the sex scenes in Mass Effect, God of War, and Grand Theft Auto. If only I could put that dream I had on youtube, then...oh boy. I need a cold shower.
