Greetings lost traveller! I'm not quite sure how you managed to stumble on the Church Of Blessed Indecision, but since you're here, you may as well pull up a chair and check out my inane ramblings on life, videogames, music and anything else that occupies my mind for a few fleeting seconds before 'the voices' start talking to me again...

Here We Go Again...
Bloody machines! No sooner do we get the laptop, than the sodding keyboard on the PC goes on the blink! Bastard! Still, there's always the XBox...
Oh yeah, I forgot! I just got to the bloody boss on the final chapter... Cue crying, gnashing of teeth and many, many swear words. Yep, I've played through the game (on casual I admit) without recoursing to a walkthrough, or getting my middle son, Marty, to play the hard parts for me.
Then all of a sudden I'm fucked! I've tried and tried to beat him, I really have, but he just keeps kicking my sorry ass. Oh Lord! Why God, why???
Now I don't want it to be too easy, like the final boss in Bioshock was, but then again, I'm ready to move on... Games to play, people to see, you know the score... So what do I do then? I either get pecked to death by Kryll or shot to pieces by Mr. Badass. Ho hum... Maybe I'll just leave it and start Call of Duty 4...
You let your son play the hard parts of games, so you don't have to do it. Wow! Now, that is a first.
Here is some advice father on beating the final boss. Forget about about the chainsaw. I tried that method, and the end result was that I had Kryll up my asshole. Make sure you pick up the torque bow prior to the boss fight. Use your teammates as human shields. Keep them in the attack position. The boss is invulnerable when he is surrounded by kryll because that is his protective barrier. Fire torque bow ammunition at him until the kryll disperses. After that, equip your machine gun and unload everything until he starts using the kryll as protection again. It is a rudimentary rinse, recycle, and repeat procedure from here on out. I have told you all that you need to know in order to pulverize this boss. Now, go and do it. If my advice is useless, then Neba can assist you. I am sure he pisses his pants with excitement anytime someone mentions Gears of War.
By the way, I am stunned you are having so much trouble with this boss father. Gears is a challenging game, but you must really play this game poorly to struggle with this boss.
Yeah, Father! Congratulations! That boss was a bitch for me too, but the feeling of self-accomplishment when I finally beat the fucker was indescribable, like I rarely feel these days...

I did it! I killed the boss! I've finished the game! It wasn't that hard after all! :) Halle-fuckin-luyah!
I don't like Gears that much, funnyman... :)

I'm glad you didn't give up! :)
Now go play some CoD4, you deserve it!
I'd suggest you know go and watch Diary of the Dead and let us know if it's any good...
Oh, see, you finished it eh? All the better...
That is great father. You are finally ready to chainsaw some locust horde in Gears 2.
I thought Gears was your favorite game Neba. My mistake.
Why thanks for the support funnyman! Yes Gears 2 will be a certainty, (as will Bioshock 2 - but not till the last quarter of 2009)!
Ah yes Nebacha! There is a certain thrill in beating that Kryll riddled old buzzard...
Diary Of The dead eh Gnome? Not sure I know that one... I'll check it out...
That is not much of a shock that BioShock will have a sequel. I hope you can shock those little girls with electricity in part 2.
*How many times did I use the word shock in this comment?*
