shame the yellow submarine looks so battered hiding in the bottom of the screen there ;-)
LOL! Yep, it was a beloved childhood toy. Wonder how much an 'as new' one would fetch?
Is that a Casio pt1? What an epic musical instrument that was. You can't throw that out! I honed my piano skills on that as a youngster. (What do you mean -"what piano playing skills?" lol)
It's a Casio V-L Tone dear Sonnyboy! Well spotted sir!
One of it's set auto-rhythms was used in Trio's "Da,da,da" if yo remember that. it was also used for the very high pitched "flute" sound in the chorus of "Open Your Heart" by the Human League (off the LP 'Dare').
None of the stuff from the cabinet of junk was thrown away, just the cabinet itelf!
BTW stop being modest... You know your Piano skills are up there with Bobby Crush and Les Dawson, LOL!
I actually think there was merit in the composition. Oh, well. You can't argue with the missus, can you? Surely she knows better... :D
And let me say that Bob Marley and DK are firm favourites around the Lair too.
Why thank you Gnome! The DK single was bought when I was a mere child of 13 or 14. The Bob Marley flyer was from when he was actually touring the album "Survival"...
Alas, I never took the opportunity to see him and we all know the sad events that happened shortly thereafter.
I have seen the surviving Wailers play twice though, once in a club in OC Maryland, and once on the main stage at Glastonbury Festival, fronted by Michael Rose from Black Uhuru.
For 'touring the album "Survival' please read "Uprising"... DOH!
and of course, everyone of our age loved happy days and the fonz :D

Ah yes, Happy Days!
£150 eh? not as much as I thought...
I, of course, watched re-runs, but Happy Days was the shit!
I feel like playing with all that stuff, recently I have been very nostalgic I started remembering what made me happy when I was a kid (BMX) so I started building the bikes that brought me so much joy as a kid and try to re live that once more.
CHEERS TO OUR INNER CHILD'S!!

Good luck BJ! That sounds like quite the interesting visit. Tell us how it turns out will you! :)
Wow BJ! That's epic! Her parents will love you, you know that! If they make judgement about your character based on your appearance, then that's just sad.
You'll win 'em over with your 'Del Preston' charm!
