Hello My Friends!

Well just a quick one to say thanks for all your good wishes and kind thoughts. Just to clear up the mystery, I've no idea what's wrong with me, neither do the docs! my heartbeat is 118 BPM, whereas the norm is between 50-100. I'm short of breath and I've got fluid on the lungs! Jeez! having said that, I don't feel too bad! And the docs don't think it's anything fatal at the moment (thanks Funnyman!)

Still, I've got to stay in next week, but I've had a day at home today. It's been great and I've been pampered by the family. Part of this pampering includes a brand new PSP Light to help me pass the time. I've completed God Of War and I've got Need For Speed Carbon, Gun, Tekken Dark Resurrection, Virtua Tennis World Tour, Tocca Race Driver, Micro Machines, Powerstone Collection, Fifa 09, GTA Liberty City Stories, plus Akira, House Of Flying Daggers and Kung Fu Hustle on video! Not bad eh?So I'm still alive and kicking at the moment, and hoping to be home some time next week with a conclusive diagnosis! Then I can get back to blogging and enjoying the good life! Still, my days of living an unhealthy lifestyle are firmly behind me, that is definite. There's nothing like spending ten days on a hospital ward with three guys with 248 years between them, one in the advance stages of pancreatic cancer, two who are incontinent, one blind and all three flatulent in the extreme! That's an eye-opener believe me! Stay well brothers!

An eye opener? Surly more of a nose closer?
It's good to hear that you are kinda well. And I bet you're loving all the pampering. Plus Akira and Kung Fu Hustle rock. Not to keen on House of Flying Daggers. But that's my own opinion.
Hope you find out what's wrong and get 100% better soon.

Man, it's good to hear from you! I actually feel somewhat relieved...go figure...

Anyway, it's fucking great to know that at least you're feeling well. It's fucked up to not know what the fuck is wrong with you.

Right now it's the same with me, actually, but my symptoms aren't as bad, just an annoying pain in my left leg, up there near the hip.

Anyway, hope everything goes back to normal soon and can't wait to hear from you again :)

Good to know that you're feeling better father. I don't know what we'd do without you around here! :)

Hopefully you know what the hell is wrong with you and you can get back to full recovery soon.

You finally have experienced Chains of Olympus. Now, you are ready for God of War 3.

By the way, do you have chest pains? It could be high cholesterol. If that is the problem, then you should eat healthy and exercise.

The Sports Satirist said...

Oh, I almost forgot. Do you still have a Wii? I think there are some methods of exercising using a Wii, but I am unsure since I don't play with a Wii. Maybe it is called Wii Music.

Richard Fairbrass? You cheeky sod BJ!
When you say flashed, do you mean chipped? Mine's to new to be chipped, the Sony peeps have seen to that.

Funnyman, I drank like a bastard and smoked for far longer than I should have. I am not at deaths door yet, however.

I will be not doing either of those things any more and I will be hopefully living a more healthy lifestyle in terms of exercise and getting out into the country.

You would not get me on Wii Fit if my life depended on it! LOL!

hey i got some news today! The good news is as far as they can tell i don't have any malignant cells in my blood - no cancer, which was my big fear... The not so good news is that my heart is fucked for a 41 year old man, operating at around 20% of the capacity it should be. That means i will have to stay in hosp for another week while the cardiologists poke and probe me to find out what is wrong and how to fix it! Still i'm not dying and i'm pretty stoked about that! Looks like i'm going to have to face the fact that it's unlikely i'll ever be called to play football for england in the world cup now though... Oh well!

gnome said...

Well, that doesn't sound that bad, does it Father? And I'm sure things will turn out for the best! Stay in hosp, follow the advice and start living the healthy life!

I thought you were older?! :P Jk!

But that doesn't sound too good. :( I hope everything turns out good for you, and you can get out of that damn hospital.

God speed my british brotha!

Sounds like you are in good spirits!
I pray the doctors find out what the problem is.

Hope you are enjoying some pampering and some quality handheld gaming!
