Windmill by deitrix

Just look at this... beautiful isn't it? Brooding, simple, stark, yet familiar and homely. I've long been a fan of deitrix artworks and have even been priveliged to have my own likeness rendered by the great man himself.

I've just bought a print of this amazing picture, that I will be showcasing in my caravan in Wales.

Go visit his site and shop now... You'll be well rewarded!
Oh and look at this rather amazing picture of my good friend Nebacha... Is there no end to this man's talents?

I love the fact that this painting is so different from everything else I've seen from him. It shows variety in his craft, and that's really cool.

*still waiting for the Joker piece*

;)

Thanks for the purchase Father! Means a lot!!

Junlee, I started messing with a Joker and went off to something else. I will get back to it one of these days. It's on my list to get finished.

Just finished up a scifi painting and will be starting a painting dedicated to coffee. Since I love it so much!

Father, is that your Mii character??

I said it before, but I'll say it again. That painting is just fucking beautiful.

Wait a minute. You mentioned sci fi, and I had to take a cold shower. Are you planning to do any Battlestar Galactica artwork? That Grace Park and Tricia Helfer are so oozing with sex appeal.

I dont seem to be impressed by his art at all, it looks like they are traced then given a touch of paint. I guess its just not my taste.

SSSHHH! Mikey! That's blasphemy around these parts! LOL! deitrix is responsible for the gangsterlicious portrait of your's truly! He's a god!

LMAO @ gangsterlicious!!!

@Mikey4u1984-
No tracing, but I do look at a picture for reference when doing portraits or a realistic scene like the windmill.

This portrait here has some digital editing that I put in as well.

Thanks for the critique tho, thats a big problem for me if people think my stuff is traced.

Just for the record, what I said is nothing negative.

To me this looks like an impressionist painting but its too sharp to call it so I think, I prefer a painting when they are very "rugged" sort of like an old memory. Keep em coming, I love art.
