I just could never agree with the controls or the camera angles. But this video has explained so much. But I still need to know more.

As great as what we expect from a GT retrospective. Too bad it completely spoiled the game for me, but I still want to play it anyway. That and the alternative path of RE2.
Interesting article, dear gnome, but I think they blew the racism thing totally out of proportion. My personal view of the matter stays the same, there's only racism there if you're looking for it. Maybe I'm just naive, or maybe it's because I'm from a country where slavery was abandoned centuries ago and there's little black communities, most black people are totally integrated in our society, but I still can't see where's the racism in the game or, even more important, why the fuck would Capcom want to make a racist game.
Why thank you dear Gnome! I have to say I found the Eurogamer perspective intelligent and considered - and I concur with it's assessment.
Koobs - You must play Umbrella Chronicles - it will give you a good grounding in the whole franchise history...
Nebacha - I doubt Capcom intended to make a racist game... I just think they've been short sighted in their choice of imagery and naive about it's potential impact.
I'll still be buying and playing it...
