I'm just watching documentary on Dizee (a very successful British MC) touring Austin Texas. It's so obvious that Americans don't get him or UK hip hop in general. But we swallow up even the shittest of US rap and don't ever spit! (OOOOH!) LOL!
So I present Mr. Dizee and my favourite UK MC, the legendary Skinnyman! 'Enjoy!'

I LOVE "I luv U" and especially "Stand up tall". I used to play that song to DEATH and dance up and down the shop floor when I was 18 and working in JD sports. *lol*
That's globalization for you. The US constantly exports its music to basically everywhere, while being too close-minded to easily accept foreign music, even when it's spoken in English.
That's of course a generalization, and fortunately our yankee friends of the blogosphere represent the healthy exception to that rule.
It's the first time I hear of Dizee or Skinnyman. Not real my thing, I guess my limit when it comes to hip-hop is nu metal and bands like Da Weasel or Senser.
ok, I had no clue what was going on in that first video....
anyway, did you make it to the cottage in RE1 yet...?
J great to see you here! *waves to J*
I understand where you're coming from Nebacha, our music posts are always going to be the ones people connect with least. Although I am thinking of downloading some Iron Maiden!
I'll post something a bit more user friendly next time Deitrix...
No I haven't got to the cottage yet, I bought No More Heroes for the Wii, so RE is on hold for the moment...
I understand completely... So how do you like the game..?
I'm getting GTA IV tomorrow after work, so I imagine all will go on hold for a couple days as well.. ;)
"Although I am thinking of downloading some Iron Maiden!"
Oh, but you must absolutely do that! It's the best fucking metal band ever were talking about!
May I give you a suggestion? Try Death on the Road first. Great songs from their entire discography and a lot from the (then) latest cd, all fantastically played live. It's one of those rare cases where the live versions of the songs are on par or even better than the studio ones, so you won't miss anything by listening to them instead of the original cd's.
By the way, I saw you (or one of the gingers) on xbox live today. I decided to take the risk and finally play some CoD4 online. Fucking awesome! I owned bitches big time! Tomorrow (April 30th) I wont be online, but after that we got to play some CoD and VF together.
I am having sex with prostitutes in GTA IV right now!!! Woot!!!
No More Heroes? I like it a lot!
RE Gamecube edition? I fecking love it!!!
It's so good to feel all my gaming needs are catered for!
GTA 4 is now in my house... The kids are playing it and the franchise looks as boring as it ever did...
