Dreamcast June

This month I've left the current gen behind and I've been rediscovering the joys of the Dreamcast. What a truly stunning console and what fabulous games. This month has regailed me with the joys of Soul Calibur, Crazy Taxi, Daytona USA 2001, Sega World Wide Soccer 2000 (Euro Edition) and Tee Off Golf. I've also completed the rather excellent cinematic adventure, Sword Of The Beserk (Gut's Rage).

Here's a little video montage to remind us all of how great the DREAMCAST was/is...

Enjoy!!

I'm saving my Dreamcast for when I have an HDTV to hook it up via VGA. Can't wait to see how damn well it will look :D

Speaking of Berserk, you might want to pass by my blog, just wrote a post about it

NFL 2K, Blue Stinger, Jet Radio, Shenmue, and Code Veronica. This was such a classic console.

Never played NFL 2K although I've seen footage of the game and it looks amazing! (Don't understand the real game particularly...)

All the others are firm favourites and I've decided that Jet Set Radio will be my new game to try and complete... (Just completed the first level, still not brilliant with the controls...)

Nebacha, I've passed by and loved the post!

The 2K Sports games such as NHL 2K, NFL 2K, and NBA 2K really made their mark on the Dreamcast. Although Madden is the only NFL game on the market right now, the original NFL 2K blew my mind. It is football, and there are hot pieces of asses called cheerleaders. What is difficult to understand about that?

NBA 2K was the shit on the Dreamcast, and I swear once the Dreamcast died, those games did too.

I disagree junlee. I own NBA 2K8 on m 360, and I am having a ton of fun with it. The only 2K series that died was NFL 2K. It was a damn shame because competition is good for business. Now, Madden easily dominates the month of August without even trying. NFL 2K5 was starting to close the gap on Madden, but we will never know what would have occurred in those subsequent years due to the NFL exclusivity deal.
